Big Thief have shared two songs, “Little Things,” which was recorded in October 2020 in Topanga, CA, and “Sparrow,” which was recorded last summer in the Catskills. This is the band’s first release since the 2020s Two Hands outtake “Love in Mine” and the band’s 2019 studio album U.F.O.F. Drummer James Krivchenia produced both of the songs, which you can listen to below.
“We all just scattered about the room without headphones, focused and in the music—you could feel that something special was happening,” Krivchenia said about “Sparrow” in a statement.
