Brighton rockers Royal Blood have scored their third straight UK number one album with Typhoons. Typhoons released just last week on April 30th and has over 32,000 chart sales, with 24,000 of those being physical copies. The duo also had the most digital downloads of the week and “outsold the rest of the Top Five combined and claimed the biggest opening week for a British act in 2021 so far,” claims NME.
“This is getting ridiculous now. I don’t think we thought we’d make more than one album, so to get to here an be on our third and it be Number One is a joke, to be honest with you,” says Royal Blood.
