Weezer have announced the release of a new album, OK Human, set to be released on January 29th via Atlantic Records. A single titled ‘All My Favorite Songs’ will be released this Thursday.
The band‘s previously announced album Van Weezer , from which the group already shared three singles, will still be released this coming May.

With the announcement, Weezer joins the growing list of bands that have released multiple albums in an unusually short period of time during the pandemic. Artists such as Future Islands, Foo Fighters, and The Killers have all made plans to release multiple albums within the span of a year. While fans can enjoy a break form the gaps between releases and a return to sixties music customs that saw The Beatles release thirteen albums in eight years, many people inside the music industry are predicting the uptick in releases as an effort to build momentum towards a potential return of live music and touring in the coming months.
