Snail Mail, a solo indie-rock project from singer-songwriter Lindsey Jordan, has announced a new album, Valentine, due Nov. 5 via Matador. Jordan wrote the album in 2019 and 2020 before recording it with Brad Cook. This album follows Snail Mail’s 2018 Lush. The singer-songwriter was supposed to go on tour last year but was forced to postpone. Now, the singer will hit the United States in November before flying to Europe for a 2022 tour. Along with the announcement, Jordan has released the music video to the title track. You can watch the music video below.
“I wanted to take as much time as possible with this record to make sure I was happy with every detail before unleashing it unto y’all,” Jordan said in a statement. “Referring to the process as the deepest level of catharsis and therapy I have ever experienced would be a huge understatement. Valentine is my child!”
