Dinosaur Jr. have announced that they are postponing the start of their 2021 tour. That band claims that “the rise COVID cases and hospitalizations along with the impact that the Delta variant is having at the moment” are their reasons for this sudden change in plans. The band plans to start the tour in November and reschedule the postponed dates when they can.
Lead guitarist J. Mascis stated in the Dinosaur Jr. Instagram post about the announcement, “I’m really bummed that we’re not playing these shows. I miss touring and miss all of you. I’m grateful for your understanding, and I hope all of you are able to stay safe.”
