Just two days before Bonnaroo Music Festival was supposed to kick off, organizers pulled the plug due to poor weather conditions. The Tennessee Music Festival is experiencing heavy winds and rain as a result of Hurricane Ida. Attendees who purchased a ticket from Front Gate Tickets will get a refund as soon as 30 days. The music festival was expected to feature Foo Fighters, Tame Impala, Pheobe Bridgers, Lana Del Rey, Brittany Howard, and many more. Bonnaroo Music Festival hasn’t taken place since 2019, after having to cancel last year due to concerns over COVID-19. Hopefully, the music festival can return to its full glory in 2022.
“While this weekend’s weather looks outstanding, currently Centeroo is waterlogged in many areas, the ground is incredibly saturated on our tollbooth paths, and the campgrounds are flooded to the point that we are unable to drive in or park vehicles safely,” the festival noted.
