Johnny Marr, famously known as the guitarist of The Smiths, has recently announced a new double LP, titled Fever Dreams Pt. 1-4. The entire album has no specified release date, but part one is expected to be released on Oct. 15 via BMG. On top of this announcement, Marr has released one of the songs from the upcoming album titled “Spirit, Power and Soul.” Marr described the song as “a kind of mission statement” and “an electro-soul anthem.” You can see the music video and tracklist for the first part below.
“I’m very pleased to be working with the people at BMG on this new chapter,” Marr said in a statement. “It’s a good feeling.”
