Angel Olsen’s upcoming EP, Aisles, will appear next month and feature a handful of ’80s covers. The singer-songwriter first shared a cover of Laure Branigan’s “Gloria” last week, and now, Olsen has released her version of Men Without Hats’ “Safety Dance.” This EP is due Aug. 20 on Olsen’s Jagjaguwar imprint Somethingcosmic, where all of Olsen’s exclusive music can be found. You can watch the music video below.

“I felt this song could be reinterpreted to be about the time of quarantine and the fear of being around anyone or having too much fun,” Olsen said in a statement. “It made me wonder, is it safe to laugh or dance or be free of it all for just a moment?”
