Damon Albarn Shares Another Single, “Polaris,” from Upcoming Album

Damon Albarn, famously known as the frontman of Blur and the co-founder/ singer-songwriter of Gorillaz, has shared a new single ahead of his upcoming album, Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows. Albarn releases the single, “Polaris,” in two versions, an audio version, and a live performance version. The live version is performed with multi-instrumentalist Mike Smith, bassist and vocalist Seye Adelekan, guitarist Simon Tong, percussionist Karl Vanden Bossche, cellist Izzi Dunn, violist Ciara Ismail, and violinists Nina Foster and Sarah Tuke. The upcoming solo album is expected to be released on Nov. 12 via Transgressive. Albarn hasn’t released a solo album since his 2014 Everyday Robots. You can listen to the single below.
