Set to release June 11 of this year via KGLW label, Melbourne’s King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s Butterfly 3000 is something quite different.

Unlike past albums, the band has chosen not to announce album artwork, an advance single, or even a tracklist. The group has only chosen to reveal that there are ten songs, and the album was created using modular synth loops. They also have chosen to detail us that the cover will feature a “cross-eyed autostereogram” by collaborator Jason Galea.

Butterfly 3000, which will be there 18th studio album, is described as “melodic” and “psychedelic,” so fans can expect a very artsy and creative adventure coming soon.
