Idaho’s biggest indie music festival, Treefort Music Fest, has announced its lineup for 2021, including Japanese Breakfast, The Marias, and Calexico. The festival was supposed to happen last spring, as it normally does, but COVID-19 forced the festival to postpone until September 2020 and then September 2021. Many of the acts from last year’s canceled lineup have been included in this year’s lineup. The festival starts on September 22 in downtown Boise and will continue until the 26th, with small indie bands playing throughout the area. Check out the full lineup below.
“We appreciate the due diligence taken by Treefort Music Fest in considering the health of residents in our community, and support the decision to postpone the festival,” Boise Mayor Lauren McLean said last year after the festival’s first postponement. “I look forward to celebrating our community and the artists at Treefort in September.”
