Out May 14th 2021 via Nonesuch, The Black Keys have prepared a new album titled Delta Kream. The album’s top song ‘Crawling Kingsnake’ is a covered version of the original by Big Joe Williams, which became popular thanks to John Lee Hooker and his producer Bernard Besman. You can watch the music video below.

Delta Kream, recorded with musicians Kenny Brown and Eric Deaton, is detailed as “Mississippi hill country blues standards,” says the musical duo, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney. “It was a very inspiring session with Pat and me along with Kenny Brown and Eric Deaton in a circle, playing these songs. It felt so natural,” says Auerbach. This album has a short upcoming claims Carney, “The session was planned only days in advance and nothing was rehearsed. We recorded the entire album in about 10 hours, over two afternoons.”
