The Charlatans frontman, Tim Burgess, has announced that he is working on a new solo album. It has only been about a year since Burgess released his last solo album I Love The New Sky, and he’s already bringing us new music.

You can check out Burgess’ latest album here.

Burgess told the Rockonteurs podcast, “I’ve been at Rockfield in Wales, all wearing masks and that. I’m doing a solo record.” He mentioned that he’s got quite a bit of songs lined up, and records using Voice Memos on his phone and a YouTube drum beat. Burgess also mentioned that he tries to keep a routine, working on his writing every day and just experimenting to see what he comes up with.

In addition to his own music, Burgess revealed that The Charlatans will get back to working in the studio (and on a new album) once lockdown restrictions are lifted in their area.
